As far back as I can remember, I always had a passion for the beauty industry. A love for skin care, relaxation, and wanting to make people feel confident led me to Concepts School of Cosmetology where I graduated with my Esthetics Diploma in 2004.
Shortly after, Face Forward Mobile Esthetics was born with the idea and inspiration from my beautiful grandmother. She encouraged me to cater to seniors who may not be mobile and need regular foot care. I can come to those who may otherwise miss out on what spa services have to offer because of limited mobility, or a cost issue, as the spa can be pricy to some. I now offer my services to all that are interested in relaxing in the comfort of their own home, at resonable rates!
I chose the name "Face Forward" while I was completing a project in school, and had to create a name for my day spa. The inspiration for that came from the late make up artist, Kevyn Aucoin, who wrote his second book, "Face Forward". He was an inspiration to aspiring make up artists, and catered to the stars. He was self taught, and he believed that there were no rules in the industry; you do what makes you feel good so you can face forward with confidence.
